Job Description

Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to an engaging contract assignment supporting students' communication needs in a school-based environment near Limon, CO. Key Qualifications:
Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Credentials such as Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status accepted Background in pediatric settings, with prior experience in schools or healthcare preferred Familiarity with teletherapy practices and relevant technology (preferred, not required) Strong communication, collaboration, and time-management skills Dedication to individualized support and a collaborative team approach
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct therapy services to students with communication and language disorders Perform screenings, evaluations, and comprehensive assessments to determine individualized needs Develop, implement, and update IEPs and treatment plans in collaboration with educational staff and families Maintain thorough, confidential documentation in compliance with district and regulatory guidelines Consult with teachers, caregivers, and other professionals to support generalization of skills Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school initiatives Imagine the reward of helping students achieve communication milestones and academic success.
