This full-time contract opportunity offers a Monday through Thursday schedule from 7:45 am to 3:45 pm, supporting PreK through Grade 12 students. As a valued Speech-Language Pathologist, youll provide vital speech and language services, collaborating closely with educators and families to help students thrive.
Whats needed to succeed:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current and valid SLP licensure for school-based practice Experience or strong interest working with PreK-12 student populations Strong ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals Effective communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans Flexibility and initiative in a dynamic school environment In this role, youll: Assess, diagnose, and treat speech-language, communication, and swallowing disorders Manage a diverse caseload spanning PreK through 12th grade Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings Provide training and resources to teachers, families, and other educational staff Foster positive student relationships and advocate for communication needs Adapt plans and interventions according to students progress This position offers a unique opportunity to start as soon as possible, with the current contract extending through May 31 and the potential for a longer-term role based on fit and preference.
