Job Description
Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students across K-12 for the full 2026-2027 school year. This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist assignment spans district-wide, offering the chance to provide valuable therapeutic services in a collaborative educational setting near Willimantic, CT. Working on a Monday through Friday schedule, youll contribute between 35 and 37.5 hours each week to help students thrive academically and socially through evidence-based speech and language interventions.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required Experience with K-12 student populations, including evaluation, direct therapy, and IEP development Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers Organizational efficiency to manage caseloads, documentation, and compliance in a school setting Passion for supporting diverse learners and readiness to serve across a district
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and provide ongoing speech and language therapy for students with a range of needs Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and related documentation Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to design targeted interventions and integrate communication goals into the classroom Monitor student progress, adjust treatment plans, and participate in IEP meetings as a vital team member Educate and provide resources for staff and caregivers to support student growth beyond direct therapy This role allows you to expand your expertise while making a measurable impact throughout the upcoming academic year.
