We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and creative Speech-Language Pathologist to help clients strengthen their communication skills and participate more confidently in everyday life. S & M Therapy is a multidisciplinary practice offering Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Applied Behavior Analysis. Our clinicians collaborate across school, center, and home environments to provide individualized and family-centered services. Duties and Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations using standardized and informal assessment tools. Assess areas such as articulation, phonology, receptive and expressive language, fluency, voice, social communication, and functional communication, as appropriate. Develop, implement, review, and update individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and each client's needs. Establish measurable, functional, and developmentally appropriate treatment goals. Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy in school, center, and home settings. Collect and analyze data to monitor progress toward treatment goals and modify interventions when clinically indicated. Prepare evaluations, progress reports, treatment plans, discharge summaries, and other required clinical records. Maintain accurate, timely, objective, and compliant documentation in accordance with agency and funding-source requirements. Ensure that services comply with professional ethical standards, state regulations, payer requirements, and organizational policies. Educate caregivers, teachers, and other team members on strategies that promote communication across environments. Collaborate with occupational therapists, physical therapists, BCBAs, RBTs, educators, caregivers, and other professionals involved in the client's care. Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, care coordination, and clinical consultations as needed. Supervision and Documentation Review Provide clinical supervision to assigned support staff, including Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), when permitted by state regulations and payer requirements. Review therapy session notes and other clinical documentation completed by assigned support staff. Provide corrections, guidance, and performance feedback to promote accurate documentation and treatment integrity. Confirm that supervised services remain consistent with the client's treatment plan, professional standards, and applicable supervisory requirements. Complete and document all required supervision activities within established timelines. Supervision and documentation-review services will be compensated at $3 per reviewed note , when applicable and as specified in the employment or independent-contractor agreement. Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program. Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state where services are provided. Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), when required or applicable. Eligibility to supervise SLPAs in accordance with state and payer requirements. Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain it. Pediatric experience is preferred. Knowledge of standardized assessments, evidence-based interventions, data collection, and clinical documentation. Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between assigned service locations, when applicable. Why Join S & M Therapy? Work alongside professionals in Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and ABA. Provide meaningful services across school, center, and home environments. Receive opportunities for collaboration, professional development, and clinical growth. Use creativity to turn communication goals into engaging, functional experiences. Help clients find their words, strengthen their voices, and build meaningful connections with the people around them. At S & M Therapy, speech sessions are more than flashcards and worksheets. They can include stories, games, music, movement, pretend play, real-world conversations, and plenty of celebration when a new skill clicks. If you are ready to combine clinical expertise with creativity, compassion, and teamwork, we would love to hear from you.
