Job Description

Step into an exciting opportunity as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive elementary school environment near Ellijay, GA. This is your chance to make a true impact on young learners by helping them achieve communication milestones during the 2026-2027 academic year. With a full-time schedule (40 hours per week) and the ability to focus exclusively on a single assignment, youll be able to dedicate your skills and passion to making a meaningful difference.
Key Qualifications:
Active Georgia SLP license and valid teaching certificate required Accepting candidates holding SLP-CCC or new grads with SLP-CFY Prior SLP experience in school settings or with elementary-aged children preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to create individualized treatment plans and work within a dynamic school support team Commitment to ongoing professional growth and maintaining credentials
Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and parents Maintain progress reports and accurate documentation in accordance with school policies Provide direct therapy and consultative support to students, providing resource recommendations as needed Participate in IEP meetings and school team discussions for holistic student support
