Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of elementary students by lending your expertise as a speech-language pathologist. This opportunity offers a full-time, onsite contract role in an engaging elementary school environment. In this position, you'll work with a dedicated team to help students develop essential communication skills—fostering their academic success and personal growth.
Key Qualifications:
Active SLP licensure and certification (CCC required) Prior experience working in school settings with elementary-aged children highly preferred Ability to organize and manage a full caseload effectively Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families Comfortable working onsite in a dynamic educational environment Commitment to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional development
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary school students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student success Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, student-focused atmosphere This assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through late May 2027, offering stability and the chance to foster lasting relationships within the school community.
