Job Description

This contract position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with dedicated educators and families to foster communication skills and academic success in children and adolescents.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) candidates encouraged to apply Valid, active state licensure (or eligibility) for speech-language pathology services in school settings Experience with pediatric populations, preferably within school or healthcare environments Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements
Role Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders in students from diverse backgrounds Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Provide direct speech-language therapy services in individual and group settings Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress reports Consult and communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success Participate in professional development activities and contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture
