Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist supporting elementary-aged students across two school sites near Rathdrum, Idaho. This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to have a meaningful impact on a caseload of approximately 50 students, delivering in-person services focused on helping each child reach their communication goals. The position is structured for 7 to 8 hour days, four to five days per week, providing a consistent and rewarding daily schedule throughout the school year. You will become an integral part of the school community, collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to create an inclusive learning environment and foster student growth.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license (CCC-SLP required) Previous experience in school settings preferred, particularly with elementary populations Strong skills in evaluation, individualized education planning, and direct therapy Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is advantageous, but primary opportunity is in-person Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Ability to organize and manage a varied caseload efficiently
Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver direct in-person therapy to students as outlined in their IEPs Maintain thorough records and contribute to IEP meetings Consult with teachers and parents to support generalization of newly acquired skills Adapt therapy to meet the diverse needs of student populations Bring your compassion and expertise to a setting where you will truly see the difference you make every day.
