Job Description
Embark on a rewarding contract role providing speech-language pathology services to elementary students, just outside of Addison, IL. This full-time position will support a short-term need, covering a maternity leave for the first 12 weeks of the school year starting in August. You'll offer compassionate, evidence-based care to young learners, making a meaningful impact during an essential stage in their development.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid SLP license for the state ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) consideration Prior experience in school, pediatric, or healthcare settings preferred Strong communication and collaborative skills Commitment to fostering growth and success for elementary-aged students
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language intervention to a diverse elementary caseload Conduct screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress Support students' communication needs within the classroom setting Contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams as needed This opportunity enables you to step into a stable, full-time contract while making a genuine impact on young students' lives during a pivotal academic term.
