This role is ideal for a .5 FTE SLP who thrives on variety and is comfortable traveling between sites. You'll split your week between two self-contained classrooms supporting students with complex needs, and a half day devoted solely to a speech-only caseload at a third location.
Qualifications:
Holds an active SLP license and ASHA certification Experience in school-based speech therapy, especially with complex needs populations Adaptable and organized, able to manage a multi-site caseload Strong interpersonal and communication skills Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel within the assigned area
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in both self-contained and standard classroom settings Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to create and implement IEPs and individualized speech programs Conduct assessments, maintain detailed records, and monitor student progress Support communication development and advocate for student needs across environments
