Qualifications and Experience:
Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Experience working with school-aged children preferred Strong interpersonal and communication abilities Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders Develop individualized therapy plans aligned with educational goals Collaborate with teachers and support staff to foster a positive learning environment Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, evaluations, and treatment Participate in IEP meetings and communicate therapy outcomes with families and multidisciplinary teams Provide both direct therapy and consultative support for students and staff Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology and participate in ongoing professional development
