Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for SLP practice Prior experience with elementary-age students strongly preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively both independently and within interdisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to elementary students as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments Develop and implement customized treatment plans, goals, and measurable outcomes Collaborate with teachers, families, and other staff to support students' educational progress Maintain accurate and compliant documentation for service delivery, assessments, and progress monitoring Offer support and guidance to classroom staff on language development strategies and accommodations Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions This is a contract position for 40 hours per week, with two openings available—ideal for professionals seeking to build relationships within a supportive educational community over an entire school year.
