9625081-66537 Job Description Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) on a contract basis near Scranton, KS. In this dynamic role, youll work three days per week for the 2026-2027 school year, providing essential speech and language services that help students achieve their fullest potential. Bring your expertise to a collaborative educational environment where your skills as a school-based SLP will have a meaningful impact. Use evidence-based therapy methods, innovative interventions, and compassionate care to foster communication skills and confidence in students.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, though CFY candidates are encouraged to apply Previous experience in a school setting highly valued Strong interpersonal and communication abilities Flexibility and commitment to supporting diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans for students with a range of speech, language, and communication disorders Deliver engaging therapy sessions in both individual and group settings Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop effective strategies and support plans Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and participate in IEP meetings Provide training and resources for teachers and caregivers as needed
