Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders in pediatric patients. Your expertise will play a crucial role in improving the quality of life for children and families facing challenges in communication and swallowing. Duties Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, feeding and overall communication abilities. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluation and goals. Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to enhance communication and feeding skills. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, educators, and families to support patient care. Provide early intervention services for children with feeding, speech, and language delays and disorders. Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment outcomes. Educate patients and families about communication disorders and strategies for improvement. Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in speech therapy practices. Requirements Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology. Valid state licensure and national (ASHA) certification as a Speech Language Pathologist. Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to speech therapy. Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and treatment planning. Understanding of physiology and anatomy relevant to speech and swallowing functions in the pediatric population. Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred. Ability to provide compassionate patient care while fostering a supportive environment. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
