Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in students' lives as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist working full-time in a dynamic school-based setting. Qualifications & Experience:
Current Speech-Language Pathology license (Louisiana SLP credential required) Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Previous experience in a school setting preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement individualized therapy plans, setting measurable goals for each student Deliver direct and consultative services to students in accordance with their IEPs Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff to facilitate student progress Document therapy services, progress reports, and all required paperwork in a timely manner Participate in IEP meetings, contributing your expertise to multidisciplinary teams
