Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' communication needs through dynamic school-based speech-language pathology services. This full-time role is available for passionate professionals eager to make a difference in educational settings, including both onsite and teletherapy modalities. Serving a pediatric caseload, you'll collaborate with a dedicated team to foster student growth and success.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required. Hold current state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC preferred; CFY applicants encouraged). Prior experience in schools or with pediatric populations is beneficial but not mandatory. Possess exceptional communication, organization, and teamwork abilities. Comfortable adapting to both in-person and teletherapy service delivery.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in alignment with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to determine student needs and progress. Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators, families, and related service providers. Develop and implement individualized goals, utilizing data to monitor outcomes. Maintain clear and timely documentation according to district and legal requirements. Engage in ongoing professional learning and contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture.
