Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate speech, voice, resonance, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. Develop and implement targeted treatment plans based on individual child needs and evidence-based practices. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to implement integrated interventions that optimize therapy outcomes. Maintain detailed and confidential records of assessments, treatments, progress, and outcomes. Educate and counsel families and other caregivers to facilitate the communication development of each child. Adapt and innovate therapy approaches based on child response and emerging research. Participate in continuous learning and professional development opportunities to stay updated with advancements in pediatric speech therapy.
