School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Clear Spring, Maryland

Job Description

Make a positive impact on students communication skills through travel and onsite opportunities as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract position offers a chance to work with diverse learners in an educational environment while enjoying flexibility and balance.
Required Qualifications:
Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Current teaching certification Experience in school-based settings is highly valued Strong assessment and intervention skills for a variety of speech and language disorders Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's goals Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, intervention plans, and student outcomes Provide consultative services for staff and families as needed Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the overall success of the students educational experience
