Speech Language Pathologist in Hurlock, MD

Job Description

Make an impact in education by providing Speech-Language Pathology services in a supportive, dynamic district. This contract opportunity offers an engaging caseload spanning K-12 students, allowing you to apply your expertise and make a difference throughout the school year.
Key Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Maryland SLP license required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Recent experience in Maryland schools preferred Ability to work effectively across a variety of educational settings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based therapy for a diverse caseload, including both spot fill needs and more intensive requirements Serve students in both self-contained high school classrooms (moderate to severe needs) and itinerant positions across multiple school sites Conduct comprehensive assessments to inform Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Develop and implement targeted treatment plans, monitor progress, and maintain thorough documentation Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes Participate in IEP meetings and provide staff training as needed Highlights of this
