Key Skills & Experience:

Current license or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required Recent experience working in K-12 schools, pediatric settings, or similar environments Strong understanding of evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of communication disorders in children and adolescents Familiarity with IEPs, special education documentation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Effective communication skills with students, caregivers, and school personnel Passion for helping students achieve their communication and academic goals

Responsibilities:

Perform speech and language assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for students Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services in accordance with IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, guidance counselors, and other service providers to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation for therapy sessions, progress reports, and regulatory compliance Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team planning sessions Educate students, families, and staff on strategies to encourage communication development
