Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Previous experience providing SLP services in a school setting, preferably K-12 Comfortable with virtual service delivery platforms and teletherapy tools Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to adapt approaches for diverse learners and partner effectively with teachers and families
Role Responsibilities:
Provide direct virtual speech and language therapy to K-12 students, addressing articulation, fluency, voice, and language needs Conduct thorough assessments and create individualized education program (IEP) goals in accordance with school requirements Collaborate closely with educational teams, families, and administrators to support student development Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, student progress, and compliance reports Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations for student success in a remote environment Employ creative strategies to engage students and maximize therapy effectiveness in a digital format
