Qualifications and Experience:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active Mississippi State SLP license (or eligibility to obtain) Holding or actively pursuing ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings is highly valued Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Commitment to evidence-based practice and individualized student support

Key Responsibilities:

Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders to school-aged children Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, families, and support staff Maintain accurate and timely documentation, progress reports, and necessary compliance paperwork Participate in IEP meetings, staff consultations, and ongoing training sessions Offer guidance and education to teachers and families to support student progress across learning environments
