9541856-27006 Job Description Exciting opportunities await skilled Speech-Language Pathologists seeking a rewarding contract role for the 20262027 school year. These full-time positions, based in the vibrant community near Mocksville, NC, are perfect for SLPs who value making a positive difference in students lives while enjoying diverse experiences across elementary and middle school settings. The assignments include providing coverage for a maternity leave from October to December 2026 (serving both middle and elementary schools) and continuing as a replacement for a retiring SLP from January through June 2027, working with an elementary caseload. One dedicated SLP can fulfill both assignments, supporting students throughout the entire academic year.

Qualifications:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Holds a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or is completing a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Licensed (or eligible) to practice as an SLP in North Carolina Experience with pediatric populations, preferably in school settings Comfort with caseload management and familiarity with communication device support Collaborative, flexible, and responsive to student needs

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver speech and language therapy to students with diverse communication needs Support approximately 45 students (OctDec) across elementary and middle schools, and approximately 55 elementary students (JanJune) Provide services for students in self-contained classrooms utilizing communication devices Participate in IEP meetings, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and complete required documentation Foster a positive, inclusive, and effective learning environment Youll have the opportunity to work alongside dedicated educators, gain experience across age groups, and contribute your expertise where it matters most.
