Qualifications and Experience Needed:
  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for the state
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Prior experience in a school setting is highly preferred
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with students, educators, and families
  • Commitment to supporting a diverse range of student needs
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations and interpret results to inform intervention strategies
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Track progress, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to support each student's communication development
  • Support classroom integration of speech strategies and provide resources as needed
