Key Qualifications:
Hold active North Carolina Speech Language Pathologist licensure Possess ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) Demonstrated experience or enthusiasm for working in school settings Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for diverse student populations Organized and responsive, with integrity in clinical documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress Develop and implement IEPs and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with regulations Conduct screenings and re-evaluations as needed throughout the school year Engage in multi-disciplinary team meetings to help shape student educational plans Provide professional insight and education on communication disorders to school staff and families In this role, you'll earn an hourly pay of $43-$48, reflecting your skills and experience as a qualified SLP.
