Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to a dynamic school environment supporting middle and high school students. This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful difference three days per week, now through June 28th. Focused on individualized care, you will collaborate with education professionals to empower students in their academic and personal development.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA Valid state SLP license Experience in pediatric and school-based settings preferred Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt therapy techniques for middle and high school populations
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language services to students, delivering both individual and group-based interventions Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine student needs and develop appropriate IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support student progress Maintain detailed session notes, progress reports, and required documentation Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the overall success of the school's special education program Support students with a range of communication disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, and social communication challenges This is an excellent opportunity to engage with diverse learners in a supportive academic setting.
