Job Description

Category Schools - SLP - Telespeech Job Type Contract A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is required for a virtual role serving the 2026-2027 school year in Espanola, NM. This position involves delivering telepractice services in a supportive school district with a four-day school week, totaling 32 hours per week. Responsibilities include providing speech and language therapy to pediatric students in a school-based teletherapy setting. SLPs will work with manageable caseloads, with age preferences considered during the interview process to ensure an optimal fit. Adherence to individual education plans and collaboration with educators and families to support student communication goals are essential components of this position.
Qualifications:
Active New Mexico state license (NMRLD) required by start date New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED) certification required; applications in pending status are acceptable at hire Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience with pediatric populations in school settings Proficiency in teletherapy service delivery and virtual therapeutic tools Strong interpersonal and communication skills tailored for remote engagement with students, educators, and families
