Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current SLP-CCC certification Previous experience in a school setting (preferred) Familiarity with school-based documentation and compliance Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with students, staff, and families Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere Responsibilities Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student needs Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and administration to optimize educational outcomes Deliver both direct and consultative therapy services in accordance with each student's IEP Maintain accurate records and prepare reports according to school and state guidelines Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, student-centered culture Provide guidance and education to families on supporting communication development at home This role offers flexibility in caseload assignments, ensuring your preferences and experience help shape your daily work.
