Collaborate closely with another SLP (currently serving a bilingual caseload) and expand your skills through hands-on service delivery, evaluations, and progress reporting. The district's manageable caseload ensures you can truly focus on each student's growth, and the experience gained here will be invaluable for your professional development and future leadership roles.
Qualifications:
State licensure as an SLP in New Mexico (or eligible to obtain) Clinical certification (CCC-SLP) or current Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome Experience or interest in school-based pediatric speech-language pathology Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 42 students (primarily English-speaking) Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students in PK-12 Conduct assessments, evaluations, and develop individualized therapy plans Write progress reports and maintain thorough documentation Collaborate with existing SLP and educational staff
