This onsite, full-time position runs from August 3, 2026, to May 20, 2027, and focuses on providing invaluable speech and language services to students. Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Current licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as an SLP in New Mexico Previous experience working in school settings, providing evaluation and therapy to students, preferred Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech/language needs Provide direct therapy and intervention in accordance with IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of services and student outcomes Serve as an advocate and resource for speech and language development within the school community Adapt caseloads according to personal preference and experience, ensuring the best fit
