This full-time contract opportunity gives you the chance to provide vital speech and language services to students from Pre-K through high school in a district-wide setting. You'll benefit from a unique four-day work week, with Mondays through Thursdays scheduled from 8AM to 4PM, offering long weekends and outstanding work-life balance.
Required Qualifications:
Current and active Speech-Language Pathologist licensure from the State of New Mexico Experience or strong interest in school-based therapy and teletherapy modalities Ability to deliver services effectively to students in person and virtually as needed Comfortable working with a broad age range, from Pre-K through 12th grade Willingness and ability to travel between sites within the district
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide assessment, diagnosis, and direct speech-language therapy for students with a range of needs Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Maintain timely and thorough documentation of student progress and interventions Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to support students' educational goals Utilize teletherapy platforms as applicable to deliver remote services when necessary Enjoy the rewards of contributing to student growth and achievement in an engaging educational environment.
