Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join our small clinic setting in beautiful Taos, New Mexico. In this role, you will be expected to evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in children from birth to 18. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with physical therapists and occupational therapists as part of a multidisciplinary team and may be ideal for speech therapists seeking clinical fellowship hours. We welcome both salaried employees and subcontractors. Duties Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for children across various age groups, including early intervention cases. Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans tailored to each child's unique needs and goals. Provide direct therapy sessions to improve speech articulation, language comprehension, social communication, fluency, and feeding skills. Collaborate closely with other therapists, parents, caregivers, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive treatment. Utilize Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems for accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and patient records. Educate families on strategies to support communication development at home and in educational settings. Seek out professional growth opportunities to stay up-to-date on current evidence-based treatments. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care for children.

Essential:

Current or pending license from the State of New Mexico. Current or pending NPI Number. Experience working with pediatric populations in clinical or school settings. Experience using and supporting children with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams including therapists, psychologists, educators, and medical providers. Expertise in conducting speech and language evaluations for children with diverse needs. Experience implementing speech therapy plans focused on articulation, language development, fluency, voice disorders, or feeding issues. Experience working with diverse populations. Some knowledge of basic sign language.

Desirable:
