Speech Therapist Rate:
$38- $44.12/hour (depending on experience)

Days Taconic Rehabilitation & Nursing at Hopewell is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. In this role, you'll evaluate and treat residents with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders while working alongside an interdisciplinary team to help residents achieve their highest level of function and quality of life. RESPONSIBILITIES
Evaluate residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and goals Provide skilled therapy services and monitor resident progress Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, residents, and families to support positive outcomes Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment strategies and recommendations Maintain accurate documentation, assessments, care plans, and progress notes Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and discharge planning activities Ensure compliance with all regulatory, clinical, and facility standards
REQUIREMENTS
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Active New York State Speech Therapist/Speech-Language Pathologist license required Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred Knowledge of communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team Commitment to providing high-quality, resident-centered care
