Job Description

PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Le Roy, NY | PRN | 1099
Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team on a PRN (as-needed) basis at our facility in Le Roy, NY. The ideal candidate is flexible, clinically skilled, and able to step in and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care as scheduling needs arise. This role offers a competitive per-CPT-code compensation structure with flexible scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough patient assessments. Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff. Provide patient and caregiver education as appropriate. Adhere to all applicable federal, state, and facility compliance standards.
Qualifications:
Master's degree or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current New York State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (required). Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred. Experience in a skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation, or acute care setting preferred. Ability to work flexible, as-needed shifts with minimal lead time. Strong clinical documentation skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Compensation:
$35.00 per CPT code | 1099 Employment This is a PRN position; benefits are not included.
