• Acute Care and IRU At NewYork-Presbyterian/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital our Speech-Language Pathologists help adult patients experiencing serious impairments to connect with the world around them.

Under the supervision of the Manager of Speech-Language Pathology, you will work with patients across the lifespan from the most acutely ill in our Adult ICUs, to the inpatient rehabilitation unit, to the outpatient setting. This is a per diem position working Thursdays and Fridays, with weekend and Holiday commitment at NYP Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. Preferred Criteria Experience working with Trach/Vent patients Required Criteria Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Certification of clinical competence in Speech-Language Pathology by the American Speech-Language-Pathology Association New York State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required Adult experience in inpatient and outpatient setting Experience in dysphagia evaluation/treatment across the lifespan Competency in Modified Barium Swallow Study and/or FEES Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
