Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving Pre-K learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC credentials in a vibrant school-based setting. Begin making a difference now and continue through the end of the 2026-2027 school year, providing essential communication support to young students in the Pickerington PK Program. This full-time role offers approximately 37.5 hours per week, allowing you to focus on impactful early intervention.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Valid state licensure for practice in schools Previous experience working with Pre-K or early childhood populations preferred Strong collaboration and communication skills Passion for nurturing growth in developing learners
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to Pre-K students Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and track progress Communicate findings and strategies with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams Maintain documentation per school and state guidelines Contribute to the development of inclusive classroom practices Foster positive relationships and provide support for diverse learners
