Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Put your expertise to work supporting students in a dynamic educational setting. A school-based opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist who is passionate about empowering preschoolers and a small number of school-aged children. Step into a collaborative environment, starting as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the academic year on May 28th. In this full-time contract position, you will provide services Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm, managing a caseload of approximately 30 students. Your advanced clinical skills will help shape students' communication development and partner closely with educators and family members.

Qualifications & Experience:

Valid SLP licensure for Ohio or eligibility for certification Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcome Prior experience in schools or pediatrics preferred Strong rapport-building skills to engage preschool and school-aged students Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments Develop and deliver targeted therapy for students with diverse communication needs Maintain compliant, timely documentation and progress reports Collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal planning Provide guidance and resources to classroom teams as needed This contract position offers a chance to focus on meaningful, student-centered work in a supportive school setting.
