This contract assignment is ideal for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) who thrives working collaboratively with students, fellow educators, and families. Your role will provide vital communication services that help students excel both academically and socially.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Valid SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Previous experience in a school setting preferred Ability to tailor treatment plans to diverse student needs Strong communication and collaboration skills Passion for fostering communication development in children and adolescents Commitment to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional growth
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver direct therapy to students Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to optimize students' communication outcomes Maintain accurate documentation for evaluations, progress, and compliance Support the integration of communication strategies within classroom environments Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to overall student success Advocate for students' needs with compassion and professionalism This opportunity offers a chance to make meaningful contributions in the lives of young learners.
