Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Enhance the educational experience for students by providing expert speech and language services in a dynamic academic setting. Collaborate with a supportive team of educators and allied professionals to make a significant impact on children's communication skills and overall success.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required Licensed (or eligible for licensure) as an SLP in the state Prior experience in pediatric or school-based settings strongly preferred Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Strong organizational skills and attention to documentation standards
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families Deliver engaging therapy sessions tailored to student needs Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support students' academic and social achievement Maintain thorough records of evaluations, treatment plans, progress, and outcomes Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary conferences, and professional development as required Provide training and resources to support staff and family members This contract opportunity combines the advantages of flexibility with the ability to focus on what matters: empowering students to find their voices.
