Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) State licensure or eligibility to earn licensure as an SLP in Ohio Prior experience in a school setting strongly preferred Exceptional communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities Ability to adapt therapy techniques to diverse student needs across grade levels
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech/language evaluations for students Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans based on evaluations and IEP requirements Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to address students' communication needs Deliver both direct and consultative speech/language therapy services Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and progress Maintain timely records of services provided and progress monitoring for students Attend IEP meetings, provide insights, and help shape strategies for student success You'll find fulfillment in this role by influencing young learners' lives each day, building productive partnerships, and continuing your professional growth in a supportive environment.
