Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an exciting contract opportunity providing meaningful speech-language pathology services in a supportive school environment near Warren, OH! This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about empowering students and enjoy the flexibility of a varied schedule. From August 24 through June 6, you'll collaborate with educators and families to create an engaging and inclusive learning atmosphere.
What We're Looking For:
Active SLP-CCC certification is required Prior experience in a school-based setting, or a strong desire to work with children and adolescents in educational environments Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills Ability to adapt to different school environments and caseloads as assignments are finalized Commitment to promoting each student's communication and academic success
Position Highlights:
Provide evidence-based assessment and intervention for students, with age group and caseload size details to be finalized Deliver speech and language services in-person four days per week, with one flexible hybrid day (specific schedule to reflect building assignments) Support inclusivity and student participation across multiple school buildings, with assignments adapted to current district needs Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to IEP meetings, progress reporting, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Engage with families and educational staff to support student growth and generalize communicative skills across settings This contract position is a wonderful opportunity to make a positive impact while enjoying the variety and flexibility that travel assignments offer.
