Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students in a vibrant school setting for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time in-person assignment offers you the chance to make a meaningful difference by providing speech-language therapy services across multiple buildings, primarily working with elementary and high school students. The caseload is considered easy, featuring students with generally low behavioral needs, ensuring a supportive and focused environment.
Key Qualifications:
Active Speech-Language Pathology license for Oregon, with Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) Demonstrated experience in a school setting (preferred) Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary education teams Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills Capacity to work full-time, onsite; strictly in-person service—no virtual or hybrid options
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for a diverse K-12 population Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs and IEP goals Engage in regular consultation with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress Maintain accurate records in accordance with school policies and regulatory standards Serve students across multiple school buildings within the district This contract position offers a consistent weekday schedule, providing the chance to foster lasting relationships with students and staff while enjoying the collaborative spirit of the education community.
