School-Based Speech Language Pathologist

Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist can make a meaningful difference for students. These full-time, onsite positions offer the chance to work 35 hours per week throughout the school year, serving the needs of students in two distinct educational settings. Position 1 provides a focus on preschool and early intervention services, allowing you to support the development of critical communication skills in young learners. Position 2 centers on K-8 students, giving you the opportunity to address speech and language needs across a varied age range in a vibrant school environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from ASHA Active state SLP licensure Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred Excellent communication and collaborative skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver targeted therapy sessions to students individually or in groups Track student progress and adjust interventions accordingly Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student success Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with all regulations Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and IEP development Both settings present a fulfilling atmosphere for SLPs who thrive in collaborative and supportive school communities.
