Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity working closely with young learners and making a difference in their lives as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) spans a maternity leave beginning in November, providing you with the chance to collaborate with educational teams and support students' communication development in a vibrant school environment. You'll work in a pediatric-focused setting alongside dedicated professionals, helping to foster academic and social success for students who benefit from speech-language services. Your expertise and commitment will empower children to reach their highest potential throughout the school year.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Licensed (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology in Pennsylvania Experience working in schools, pediatrics, or healthcare settings strongly preferred Strong understanding of IEP processes and school-based services Ability to adapt services for diverse student populations and individual needs Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language services to students across grade levels on an established caseload Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders Collaborate with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to maximize therapy effectiveness and student achievement Monitor and document student progress, maintaining records in compliance with state and federal guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and actively contribute toward goal setting and plan development Step into an engaging school community where your work is valued and impactful.
