Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in students lives by providing essential speech-language therapy services in an educational setting. As a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in school-based practice, you'll work within a collaborative team to empower students with communication challenges to reach their fullest potential.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Valid state SLP certification or eligibility to obtain Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation Exceptional communicative, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of students speech, language, voice, and fluency abilities Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans based on student needs Participate in the development and execution of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions targeting communication goals Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other school personnel to ensure holistic support Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, progress, and outcomes Provide consultation and training to school staff regarding effective communication strategies
