Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact in students' lives by providing essential speech and language services on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist who is ready to support school-age children in an educational setting. You will collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to assess, diagnose, and treat students with a variety of communication challenges.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; new graduates in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply Prior experience in a school, pediatric, or healthcare setting is valuable Skilled in evaluating and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in children Strong communication and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students needing support Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapy plans Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy, both individually and in group sessions Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and parents to promote student success Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings as required Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to maximize outcomes
