•Can email resume to eessary@ensignservices.net or call 931-363-7548. Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with a variety of physical ailments, focusing on improving their speech, ability to swallow, and overall quality of life. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a skilled therapy team, providing comprehensive care to a diverse patient population. Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine their speech therapy needs. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals. Identify and classify speech communication and swallowing disorders. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Educate patients and their families about treatment options. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for patients. Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress in compliance with medical terminology standards. Experience A degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution is required. Previous experience in outpatient settings is preferred; experience in hospital or home health environments is a plus. Strong knowledge of medical terminology is essential. Familiarity with geriatric care practices is highly desirable. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining a patient-centered approach.
