9535501-24712 Job Description Make a difference in the lives of students as a contract Speech Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. This role involves providing direct and consultative speech/language therapy services to a diverse student caseload at grouped sites within a close distance of one another. With a caseload of approximately 50 students (potentially up to 53 with approval), you'll collaborate with educators and families to help meet each child's communication goals.

Key Qualifications:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field Possession of current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Active or eligible SLP licensure for West Virginia Relevant experience delivering speech/language services in school settings preferred Excellent organizational and communication skills Able to work effectively across multiple sites and adapt to dynamic school environments

Role Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and implement sound therapy strategies Deliver direct therapy, monitor progress, and document services in compliance with state and school policies Consult with teachers, staff, and families to provide support and recommendations Travel between assigned school sites as needed (locations are grouped for ease) Ensure timely documentation and reporting Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines This contract assignment begins August 17, 2026 and is scheduled through June 10, 2027, with some flexibility for potential weather-related changes.
