Desired Qualifications:
Valid and active SLPA licensure in California Prior experience or exposure in school-based settings preferred Familiarity with developing and implementing speech-language activities Ability to work collaboratively with SLPs, educators, and support staff Strong communication and organizational skills Compassion and patience working with children of varying needs
Role Responsibilities:
Carry out therapeutic activities designed by the supervising speech-language pathologist Support students one-on-one or in small group sessions to improve their speech and communication skills Assist with progress monitoring and documentation Partner with teachers and other professionals to deliver seamless support Prepare and organize therapy materials and resources Communicate effectively with team members and families regarding student progress This part-time assignment offers stability, professional growth, and a welcoming school environment that values your expertise.
