This full-time contract Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available in a welcoming school environment near Franklin, MA, with easy access for those in surrounding areas like Attleboro. Step into a supportive educational team for the remainder of the school year and help young learners build essential communication skills.
Key Qualifications:
Valid SLPA license in Massachusetts Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Ability to work effectively with students from kindergarten through 4th grade Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills Enthusiasm for contributing to a positive learning community
Role Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K-4 students under the supervision of a licensed SLP Assist with implementing IEP goals and individualized treatment activities Collect data on student progress and maintain timely, accurate documentation Support classroom teachers with strategies for fostering communication Collaborate with staff and families to promote student success This assignment is full-time, 32.5 hours per week, starting as soon as possible through June 4, 2027.
